If you’ve ever felt the air around you turn stale after a “friend break-up”, then you may find something familiar in this song. In my humble opinion, a break up with a best friend is arguably more painful than a romantic separation. I’ve always expected and anticipated my romantic connections to fizzle out or burst into flames. I never once anticipated the death of a close and long standing friendship. There was a slight magic in the ignorance. I’ve had two friendships in my life thus far, that although felt like a forever thing, were laced with imbalance and subtle toxicity. The unexpected inertia and unavoidable loneliness that followed the sting are the root of this track. I hope you enjoy
